ACEPHALIX announce new album 'Theothanatology' + share lead single

The Bay Area strikes again with a composition prefaced by the art of Ettore Aldo Del Vigo.

The death metal stronghold that is Acephalix now mark their return with today's announcement of Theothanatology, releasing on September 30th via the always consistent 20 Buck Spin. Building on the idea that God is dead, the band utilize Ettore Aldo Del Vigo's Girolamus Trasfiguratio to strike a tone prior to even embarking on the turbulence of their multi-faceted craft. Lead single Abyssal introduces the effort with aplomb as the band return to a quintet for the first time since their debut, Aporia (2010).
