AMON AMARTH bring their full-scale European production to the Kia Forum this week

This Saturday, December 16th, Amon Amarth will hit the Kia Forum in Inglewood, CA to close out a proper celebration run for this year's release of The Great Heathen Army (out now via Metal Blade Records). The Swedish, Viking-laden death metal ensemble brought genre greats Carcass, Obituary, and Cattle Decapitation along for the ride, rounding out one stacked touring bill worth the price of admission. As the first death metal band to ever headline the legendary Kia Forum, it's only right they do so with their full-scale European production, featuring Viking ships, a Viking helmet drum riser, live battle reenactments, the now infamous "Viking Row", and pyro among their ripping instrumentation. Amon Amarth have always had strong visual intentionality and with an exclusive Forum show poster, a cinematic visual for Oden Owns You All, and a stage production of this magnitude, the band is firing away on all cylinders. For those outside of the greater Los Angeles area, few shows remain.
