AROOJ AFTAB announces North American Tour Dates

The Barack Obama-backed composer takes 'Vulture Prince' on the road.

Few records transcend the physical plane of existence, becoming one with the spirit as they spark true inner bliss. Earlier this year, AROOJ AFTAB's Vulture Prince did just that, garnering widespread acclaim for its ability to evoke sorrow in such a profound and melancholic way through jazz laden, classical structures. Vulture Prince, which arrived via New Amsterdam, is poetry in sonic form and come this fall, the Brooklyn-based Pakistani artist will take it on tour along with the full ensemble of talent that made it, including Maeve Gilchrist, Gyan Riley, Shahzad Ismaily, Kenji Herbert, Greg Fox, Petros Klampanis, and Darian Donovan Thomas.
