ASPHYX share new single 'Botox Implosion'

Hailing from their Axel Hermann-illustrated new full-length.

It seems like every year for the past few years we've been clamoring about how great death metal has been. We're still not at 2021 and yet we foresee ourselves making the same statement come next year, especially with greats such as ASPHYX unleashing efforts to the likes of Necroceros, which arrives on January 22nd via Century Media Records.

Necroceros, which sports a towering cover by the talented Axel Hermann, is ASPHYX at their most malevolent, bludgeoning you with razor sharp prowess as one would come to expect from the Dutch unit. The band have recently shared their new single + music video, Botox Implosion, as a taste for what's to come. Those who come for riffs are sure to be pleased.

ASPHYX frontman Martin van Drunen comments on the video:

"We actually wanted to film this on Sunset Boulevard in L.A., where most of the pathetic subjects of this song have their residence. But due to the pandemic, it was best not to fly over to the USA. Since it's a fast-shredding song and written in the typical humorous death metal gore tradition, we put a few laughable elements in it. Fortunately, good old Turock in Essen was so friendly to let us film there and while we're usually not that keen on shooting videos, with this one, we had quite some fun. Still, it is a helluva brutal tune!"
