From the height of aged Americana to the depths of the most doom-infused stoner rock, Bask bring a special brand of heavy music and The Turning turns it up entirely with a more cohesive, comprehensive listening experience unique to their Blue Ridge Mountain roots. "We've been through so many trials and tribulations together over the past five years. We were knocked down by COVID, then by Hurricane Helene. Seeing this album finally come to light is therapeutic for us. The Turning is Bask at our finest. It's our most cohesive and heartfelt effort, an ode to our mountain home in the sky".
