Blackbraid announces the release of 'Blackbraid III' + shares Adam Burke cover artwork

The next chapter arrives this summer.

On August 8th, the highly anticipated Blackbraid III will release as another stepping stone in the grandiose black metal discography of indigenous black metal. At the forefront of it all is the artistry of Adam Burke, who exceptionally captures the ethereal nature of Blackbraid's songcraft while previous cover artist Adrian Baxter handled the layout.

For those attending the annual Fire in the Mountains Festival (Tickets) in Montana, Blackbraid will be hosting a pre-release event where festival attendees will get to hear the record ahead of street date. The festival takes place on July 25-27, 2025 at the Red Eagle Campground on the Blackfeet Nation Reserve, and features Wardruna, Old Man's Child, Blood Incantation, and more.
