A radiant outing to spark cheer amidst societal concerns.
Sargent House, home of DEAFHEAVEN, CHELSEA WOLFE, RUSSIAN CIRCLES, and EMMA RUTH RUNDLE to name a few, is no stranger to delivering eclectic musical experiences. Belgium's BRUTUS is among that fold, giving Sargent House a foothold on the post-hardcore realm. Today, the hard-hitting trio have shared Sand, a composition that was originally recorded for their renowned 2019 release Nest, as an act of celebration for the 1-year anniversary of the record.
As you'd come to expect from any BRUTUS release, Sand finds the band exploding on all ends. The power of Stefanie Mannaerts' vocals drive the energy forward while Stijn Vanhoegaerden layers lush riffs underneath, binding well with trembling Peter Mulders bass lines. Sand is nothing short of a breathtaking, essential listen, further cementing BRUTUS as one of the premiere acts of today.
The band comments:
"If we want to share awesome moments like these again in the near future, we all need to be responsible concerning the COVID-19 virus measures and stay home."Â
