The Finnish metallers share a video of what to expect from their forthcoming 10th album.
Children of Bodom shared a video on their Twitter page this morning, which sees them practicing some of the new material one can expect from their upcoming new album due in the earlier months of 2019.
Bassist Henkka Seppälä confirmed to Metal Mad TV during an interview at this year's Hellfest that the band has completed work on its 10th studio album.
"It's done. It's mixed. It's mastered. And now we are just getting the artwork done. And then we'll just wait for it to be ready for the release. And it looks like it's gonna be next year, so we have to wait a little bit. "It's ten new songs. It's always something new. It's really, really hard for me to say, but it is different."
The album was recorded at Children of Bodom's own Danger Johnny Studios in Helsinki, where I Worship Chaos (2015) and Halo of Blood (2013) were laid down. The new disc was produced by Mikko Karmila, who worked on their last two records.
Children of Bodom is set to perform a 'UK Exclusive Show' at the annual Bloodstock Open Air festival in 2019 and is also scheduled to perform at next year's Hellfest in France. Seeing as both festivals are in the summer, the band will most likely have the record out by then and will be performing the new tracks live.
