With revered photographer and skateboarder Atiba Jefferson entrusted for visuals, Circle Jerks are rolling out the red carpet for a 40th anniversary rendition of the iconic Wild in the Streets, which arrives this February 18th via Trust Records. Atiba, who directed a nostalgic video for the album's title track, captures what makes this era in punk so special: camaraderie and skate. It features footage from the band's live 1982 performance in addition to reels from Tony Hawk, Lance Mountain, Christian Hosoi, Eric Koston, and more skaters. Beyond that, Circle Jerks have made this one anniversary re-release to die for through a variety of neat additions, including remastered audio by Pete Lyman, rare April 1982 live performances of material from the band’s first two albums, a 20-page, full-color 12-by-12-inch booklet, 8,200-word essay by veteran Los Angeles journalist Chris Morris, new interviews with founding band members Keith Morris, Greg Heston, and Lucky Lehrer, and more.

Atiba comments on the video:

“I grew up on ‘Wild In The Streets’, so to be asked to direct this video was a huge honor. I wanted to capture and preserve 40 years of history but also celebrate 40 years of punk rock and skateboarding history.”
