COLD CAVE's synth laden hymns have undergone quite the sonic evolution over the years, transitioning from their lo-fi indie origins to a more anthemic and infectious end of the pop spectrum. As the duo prepare for the arrival for their new album Fate In Seven Lessons, they look back to the gem that was 2010's Cherish The Light Years and announce the album's reissue, which is set for September 3rd via Heartworm Press. Initially released by Matador Records, the record has been of print until now and will be pressed on 180 gram heavyweight vinyl, marking the first time it will ever be available on color vinyl. It will also include a previously unreleased track, Believe In My Blood.

To further celebrate the occasion, COLD CAVE will be performing Cherish The Light Years in full at The Wiltern in Los Angeles on August 28th and Webster Hall in New York City on September 25th. Tracks from Fate In Seven Lessons will also see their live debut, making this all the more enticing.

Stream album standouts Confetti, The Great Pan Is Dead, and Villains Of The Moon below and pre-order your copy of the repress HERE alongside the duo's new record, Fate In Seven Lessons. Tickets for the shows will go on sale this Friday, May 21st at 9am (local time) for Los Angeles HERE and New York City HERE.
