For fans of all things Cave In, it's been quite a year with the band announcing their signing to Relapse Records, sharing news of a new full-length in 2022, and reissuing an extensive portion of their back-catalog, which you can check out HERE. It only gets better come December. Decibel Magazine will host the quartet for a special performance of the seminal Until Your Heart Stops (1998) at the Los Angeles edition of Metal & Beer Fest. Beyond that, Cave In have partnered with Braintree, Massachusetts' own Widowmaker Brewing for Controlled Mayhem, a crisp and tasty lager you'll definitely need a pour of. A special performance with an exclusive new brew? It doesn't get much better than that. Extra points for naming it after one of the album's most standout offerings.

"Our team at Widowmaker could not be more excited to bring our beer to Los Angeles for Decibel’s Metal & Beer Fest! When we received the invite to participate, we knew we had to go all out and bring some killer beers to Los Angeles! We teamed up with Day 2 headliner Cave In to brew a crushable crispy Lager called 'Controlled Mayhem'. Brewed exclusively with Massachusetts grown hops this beer has been quietly lagering in the tanks since early Fall.
I started listening to Cave In as a teenager growing up in the Boston area, to be able to pay respect to albums like 'Until Your Heart Stops' & 'Jupiter' while celebrating Cave In’s recent work is such a cool moment for me and our company! I love that Widowmaker is able to support artists that have influenced us in so many ways.
