On April 3rd, Corrosion of Conformity will end their 8-year album drought and release Good God / Baad Man via Nuclear Blast Records. This cathartic, culminating feat continues a legacy temporarily put on hold by the sudden passing of the band's own Reed Mullin (drums) in 2020, followed by the amicable departure of Mike Dean (bass) shortly after. Now, Corrosion of Conformity partner with Grammy award winner producer Warren Riker (Fugees, Down, Cathedral), bassist Bobby “Rock” Landgraf, and drummer Stanton Moore for a body of work that captures the same youthful energy that was present on all their early influential records. Lead single, Gimme Some Moore, introduces it well.

Legendary frontman Pepper Keenan comments on the record:

“Our producer, Warren Riker, kept calling it Dark Side Of The Doom. In my head, it’s a weird love letter to all things rock ‘n’ roll. We used that for the freedom to go in different directions. Each album is its own tiny universe and has its own identity. Good God leans toward the heavier/pissed end of the spectrum. Baad Man is more on the throwdown rock scope. As we went along, it became clear which songs went on which album.”
