Festival season is here and Decibel Magazine have The Fillmore in Philadelphia locked in for what is shaping up to be another standout Metal & Beer Festival this June 10th and 11th. Staying true to the event's customs, several bands with have collaborative beers with top brewers from across the country and London's Craven Idol have partnered with Tinley Park's Soundgrowler Brewing Co. for The Hops Have Left Us For Dead, a double IPA with a wealth of flavor to please the palate. Like the band's latest effort, Forked Tongues (2021), the beer sports wicked artwork across its can and is expected to be a real treat for fans of the band and craft beer lovers keen for a taste.

The two parties shared some words on the collaboration:

"Our collaboration w/ Craven Idol, a British Metal band, this beer uses a plethora of hype hops: Citra, Nelson, and Sabro. The Sabro lends a round and mild coconut flavor where the Citra and Nelson help back the beer with citrus, gooseberry, and soft wine-grape." - Soundgrowler

"We are MASSIVE craft beer fans and this is such an incredibly exciting opportunity... We are particularly big fans of Hazy/New England Pale Ales and IPAs." - Craven Idol

Less than 75 two-day "Metal & Beer" tickets remain, so head HERE to get yours. Great beer and great metal await!
