The highly anticipated release comes introduced by elite doom and a fitting visual directed by The C.O.I.N.

On June 14th, Crypt Sermon will follow-up what we named our album of year, The Ruins of Fading Light (2019), with a culminating release, The Stygian Rose, via Dark Descent Records. Featuring guitarist Steve Jansson (Daeva, Unrest), vocalist Brooks Wilson (Unrest), drummer Enrique Sagarnaga (Daeva, The Silver), guitarist Frank Chin (Daeva), bassist Matt Knox (Horrendous, The Silver), and keyboardist Tanner Anderson (Obsequiae, Majesties), the Philadelphia-based sextet are an all-star group if there was one, allowing for an abundance of influence of experience make itself known in grand fashion. Heavy is the Crown of Bone leads the way for the highly anticipated release with a collision of doom and heavy metal that thunders over listeners in epic fashion.
Frontman Brooks Wilson comments on the track:
"This song follows our unnamed protagonist summon an entity from 'The Ars Goetia' as he seeks sacred consummation with the Divine Feminine. We were happy to work with The C.O.I.N. in achieving our concept, adding a visual element to our music that incorporates much of the esoteric symbolism embedded in 'The Stygian Rose.'"
Stream Heavy is the Crown of Bone below and pre-order the record via Dark Descent.
