On August 8th, the dark world of Crypt Sermon grows a tad greater with the release of new EP, Saturnian Appendices, via Dark Descent. The EP, which compiles 4 tracks from its predecessor's album sessions, expands further into the grandiose scope of the full-length with instrumentation equally sinister and crushing. Lead single, Only Ash and Dust, introduces the affair beautifully.
Frontman Brooks Wilson comments:
“Conceptually, the new tracks 'Only Ash and Dust' and 'A Fool to a Believe' illuminate the shadowed thoughts of the narrator from 'The Stygian Rose,' expanding on the tensions that arise as one confronts the conflicts between orthodoxy and occult."
