DARKTHRONE announce new album 'Eternal Hails' + share teaser trailer

The next dynamic chapter in the band's legendary existence.

“Pluto and Charon” (1972) by David A. Hardy

Decades into their legacy and DARKTHRONE duo Fenriz and Nocturno Culto just never seem to settle, operating as enthusiastically as a band early on in their inception. With a date now set for the band's new album Eternal Hails, the Norwegians prepare a five-track, 45-minute craft of doom-laden DARKTHRONE hymns that explore another dimension of their metal. In short, this is DARKTHRONE at their most expansive. Prepare for the full-length to arrive on June 25th via their longtime partners at Peaceville Records.

Fenriz comments:

“When I was a kid growing up with metal I kept looking for bands with long songs. Black Sabbath had many, and Celtic Frost’s ‘Dawn Of Meggido’ had a long song, so I put that on in the record store and discovered another dimension of metal. Candlemass’ ‘Epicus Doomicus Metallicus’ had only long songs, so I think I bought that without even listening, and it was one of my best buys ever - an eternal inspiration for my entire career..”
