The old school death metal unit come together with the Tinley Park brewery for a dark lager.
The weekend nears and so does Decibel Magazine's Metal & Beer Festival in Los Angeles, bringing together Converge, Cave in, Sacred Reich, Gatecreeper, Crypt Sermon, Ghoul, and more for what is shaping up to be another memorable weekend for the annual event. As you've seen, we've been spotlighting the variety of brews available for sampling at the event, which include today's subject, Black Breath. This chocolatey lager is a smooth offering that packs lightly at 5.5% ABV with a gruesome can illustration that depicts a sworded creature amidst an apocalyptic horse. It's quite the enticing presentation and with Repulsion at the helm for its identity, there's no reason Black Breath shouldn't be on your "must-try" list this weekend.
Larry Hough, head brewer of Soundgrowler, comments:
"BLACK BREATH is a 5.5% ABV Dark Lager. Notes of caramel and chocolate but drinks very smooth and finishes clean with no astringency."
Decibel's Metal & Beer Fest takes place this December 10 & 11 at The Belasco in Los Angeles. Tickets, daily lineups, and more information can be found HERE. See you there!
