Count on Dark Descent Records to deliver time and time again, especially in the death metal ranks, of which they have such a strong stake in. Among their standouts are Finland's Desolate Shrine - a band with a ripping take on the genre that controlled aggression with exquisite instrumentation. Their next chapter, The Dying World, arrives on March 25th via Dark Descent and comes adorned by the art of the band's own Lauri Laaksonen. We got the first taste of the record with The Dying World just before the weekend and it's exactly what one has come to expect from the band's upper echelon craft.
