Melodically aggressive progressive doom.

Another day another excellent Denver band to add to the list of quality talent hailing from Colorado's capital. Progressive doom unit DREADNOUGHT have announced the release of their forthcoming full-length Emergence, set to arrive on May 10th, 2019 via Profound Lore. The follow-up to 2017's A Wake In Sacred Waves finds the quartet in new heights, evolving their multilayered sound to darker, more resounding depths.
DREADNOUGHT, which consists of vocalist/guitarist/flute player Kelly Schilling, drummer/saxaphone player Jordan Clancy, keyboardist/vocalist Lauren Vieira, and bassist/mandolin player Kevin Handlon, are an immense talent that display their vast palette of musical traits in glorious fashion. Their new single Besieged is a testament to that.
Emergence was engineered and mixed by Andy Patterson (Subrosa), mastered by James Plotkin (Khanate), and fronted by an illustrious painting by Mark Facey.
