Evoken announce new album 'Mendacium' + share towering lead single

The masters of heavy sorrow return for a grand seventh chapter.

Damn, it seems like October may very well be the best release month for anything heavy this year. Joining the already stacked release calendar, funeral doom titans Evoken will release their new album, Mendacium, on October 17th via Profound Lore Records, alongside a striking cover illustration and a towering lead single, Matins, to boast. Mendacium follows a fourteenth century elder Benedictine monk with malady from illness preventing him from leaving his room within a haunted monastery, narrated by Evoken's signature big sound.
