Gaerea release powerful new single 'Submerged' + sign to Century Media

The masked Portuguese ensemble usher in the next phase of their ascension.

With 2024's Coma continuing its victory lap through the end of this year, Gaerea are expanding on successes in ways that set the stage for an already highly anticipated next move. Said move comes in the form of a big signing to Century Media Records and an accompanying single, Submerged, which could very well be among the best tracks the band has released this far. Bridging towering aggression with moments of vulnerability and ethereal beauty, Gaerea tread the emotional spectrum and Submerged stands tall as a moving post-black metal rollercoaster. Pay no mind to the being beneath the masks, but the heartfelt craft that exudes this special collective.
