GODTHRYMM bring back the golden years of death doom with "Among The Exalted"

Resembling that of decades past.

It appears that 2020 will be the year of the UK death doom resurgence. The behemoth that is GODTHRYMM joins PARADISE LOST and MY DYING BRIDE in delivering new tunes with the much anticipated debut Reflections, out February 14th, 2020 via Profound Lore.

Comprised of vocalist/guitarist Hamish Glencross (ex-My Dying Bride, Vallenfyre), drummer Shaun Taylor-Steels (ex-My Dying Bride, Anathema), and bassist Bob Crolla, one could say that the unit knows a bit about delivering heaviness of the highest order. From the glorious soaring guitars to the resounding drum work of Taylor-Steels, first audio sample Among The Exalted is testament to the capabilities of the trio who prove themselves as a modern force in the genre. Add towering studio work by Nathan Bailey and somber visuals by Brian D'Agosta and you have one package worth basking in.

Frontman Glencross comments of the release:

"Lyrically, 'Among The Exalted' is about desire becoming all-encompassing obsession, manifesting in such a way that yearning and devotion can become a manic and destructive force. Musically, we feel this song is very direct and represents us as musicians and who we are now, whilst also echoing our own history and also the glorious history of the celebrated UK doom scene. Thank you for listening."
