Richmond greats deliver a powerhouse reflective of the times.

On March 13, the always consistent Lamb of God will release their new album, Into Oblivion, via Epic Records, adding another gem to their celebrated and influential discography. Into Oblivion arrives right on time for the band's North American Tour of the same name, the likes of which is joined by the heavy hitting stable of Kublai Khan, Fit For An Autopsy, and Sanguisugabogg. The title track is streaming now and stands tall as another crowd-favorite chock full of dizzying riffs.
Guitarist Mark Morton comments on the album:
“For me, the album is about having the space to breathe creatively and not feeling like we have to keep up with any trend or expectation. It feels nice to be untethered from any agenda beyond rallying around the notion of, ‘Let's just make music that we think is cool,’ which is really where it all started.”
Frontman Randy Blythe adds on the album title:
“Because that’s where we’re heading. In general, the album is about the ongoing and rapid breakdown of the social contract, particularly here in America. Things are acceptable now that would’ve horrified people just 20 years ago.”
Stream the title track below and pre-order the album via Epic Records.
