Lamb of God return with 'Sepsis'

The band's highly anticipated, first taste of new music since "Omens" (2022).

Earlier this month, the GRAMMY® Award-nominated Lamb of God released Sepsis — a Josh Wilbur production and community-driven track that celebrates the driving force behind Richmond, Virginia's heavy underground. It's a slow burning number, contrasting the fast-paced fury signature to the band's craft with a rewarding listen that unfolds new layers with each passing listen. In short, Lamb of God is fucking back.

Mark Morton of Lamb of God comments on the single:

“’Sepsis’ is a celebration of the very underground local bands here in Richmond that we really admired when we were just forming Burn the Priest. Bands like Breadwinner, Sliang Laos, and Ladyfinger—though they never got widespread attention outside of Richmond, those were the bands we listened to all the time. The song references that stuff in a way that’s a direct line to where we were coming from when we were in the basement writing our earliest material together.”
