The follow-up to 'Through Wilderness' comes guns blazing with wicked Marald art to boast.

Autopsy aren't the only Bay Area death metal unit to bring the heat this year as San Jose's own Mortuous look to deliver big in the form of Upon Desolation, Releasing on September 16th via drummer Chad Gailey's own Carbonized Records, Upon Desolation sports a ruinous cover illustration courtesy of the always consistent Marald van Haasteren, who of course illustrated the band's 2018 debut. Graveyard Rain lights up the album's press cycle with a blistering performance that finds the band in prime form. With violin contributions by Andrea Morgan (Exulansis) on a couple of tracks and a newly energized approach to their composition, this is one you'll want to keep an eye on.
