Poison the Well announce new album 'Peace In Place' + share lead single

Leave it to Frank Maddocks to make a decade old dental mold look gritty and inviting.

On March 20th, Poison the Well return with their first new album in over 15 years — Peace In Place. To be released via SharpTone Records with a symbolic cover by way of the great Frank Maddocks (Deftones, Linkin Park), Peace In Place finds the influential band at the height of their definitive sound, as lead single, Thoroughbreds, introduces. Big, crowd-oriented moments and raw lyricism drive the riff heavy track forward, which is centered on the demise of life-long bonds.

Frontman Jeffrey Moreira comments on the record:

"Joining Poison the Well at 18 and chasing music shaped how I approach life. Coming back 16 years later — unsure if I could still do what I once left behind — only reinforced how strong our bond is and how much this band has given me. I'm grateful to do this again with my friends, and to share a record made with honesty, intention, and connection at its core."

Stream Thoroughbreds below and pre-order the record via SharpTone.

For those curious, the teeth featured on the cover are a dental mold of Moreira's own teeth taken roughly a decade ago, when he fractured a molar while eating a Wendy‘s salad. Shoutout to Revolver Magazine for sourcing that crucial bit of knowledge.
