Rogét Chahayed contributes new tracks to Marvel's 'Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings'

The Grammy nominated producer/songwriter delivers a blockbuster duo for the film's OST.

Believe the hype. Marvel's Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings is everything that critics are raving it to be with the film's current box office success standing as a testament to it all. Along with a stellar cast and uplifting story, Shang-Chi sports an eclectic soundtrack, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings: The Album, featuring the likes of multi-faceted producer Rogét Chahayed. Chahayed, who has already built a noteworthy acclaim with multiple hit singles on his resume, came together with Anderson .Paak, Rich Brian, Warren Hue, Masiwei, and 21 Savage for a set of tracks that become one with the film's moving nature. Fire In the Sky, the closing credits song, shines a light on Anderson's wide vocal range and layers it seamlessly throughout serene passages and groovy tempos. While Fire In The Sky puts the mind at ease, LAZY SUSAN presents a sharp contrast and incorporates hard-hitting flows from each respective rapper as a menacing piano melody carries the tone underneath, making for the ideal battle hymn. Chahayed's crisp production on both allows for the talent on each offering to breathe with each passing listen, further highlighting why he's garnered widespread acclaim as the master behind the boards.

"Working on the music for Shang-Chi was one of the most rewarding projects I've done as a producer. From getting my best friends together over Zoom to make the beat for 'Lazy Susan,' to starting 'Fire in the Sky' in an overnight session with my genius brother Anderson, to talking about the closing scene with the director Destin Cretton, to seeing the way these songs came to life with the picture, I just couldn't be more grateful to play a part in this incredible movie."
