The highly anticipated return of the post-hardcore unit now has a date.
Earlier this year, we had high praise for Rolo Tomassi's release of Cloaked, their first piece of new music since 2018's Time Will Die and Love Will Bury It. It was a ripping affair that set expectations high for the follow-up to come through moving vocal harmonies, a mean guitar tone, and spirited synth. Today, the band put a date on their next chapter, titled Where Myth Becomes Memory. Arriving on February 4th, 2022 via the newly rebranded MNRK, Where Myth Becomes Memory puts an end to the unintended trilogy that began with 2015’s Grievances in ways that resemble the lengths at which the band's compositional prowess has grown. This is a band at the height of their talents and new single Drip is evident of it with a wondrous blend of aggression and grace.
Rolo Tomassi's James Spence comments:
"This is a really important album for all of us. Of anything we've done, it's the one I'm most proud of. I think it's the most ambitious and creative that our band has ever sounded and something that we've all needed to get through the last few years. We can't wait to share it and to have you help us bring it to life."
