With a date now set for his new album, Yours Until The War Is Over (Liars Club Records), Amigo The Devil is setting the stage with a prefacing tour across North America, the likes of which hit The Wiltern Theatre on Halloweekend with a career spanning selection for all to dive into. Mastermind Danny Kiranos is no stranger to engaging sets that serve as a conversation rather than a one-sided interaction.

From the moment Infamous Butcher and The Weight hit the speakers, eyes were locked onto the band and off we went into a hypnotizing, folk-laden soundscape.

A smile lit up on Danny's face throughout a solo portion spearheaded by signature staples such as Hungover in Jonestown, Cannibal Within, and Cocaine and Abel. Mid-song banter and laughter made for a joyous moment in between the otherwise somber set for complete balance. Above it all, the happiness felt that evening was infectious as Amigo's hymns seeped into you whole. Arms were raised high as the performance came to a close, a performance that sets anticipation high for the next Amigo The Devil chapter to come.
