SIGUR RÓS announce 20th Anniversary reissue of '( )' + share unreleased version of 'Dauðalagið'

The revered post-rock trio breathe new life into a genre staple.

Sigur Rós have announced a 20th Anniversary, Ted Jenson-remaster of their seminal record, (), to be released digitally on October 27th and physically on November 25th. The physical edition will include other rarities and demos, which includes Dauðalagið (The Death Song) and other unheard studio sessions of existing tracks and two B-Sides from the original Untitled 1 single. Though the release serves as an act of reflection for the band, it marks an important step towards their continued growth with a new look at a landmark recording, as well as sets the stage for a full-length to come in 2023 and proof of () longevity. They've come a long way since first recording this in an empty swimming pool in Álafoss, Iceland.
