Keeping the spotlight on the Pacific Northwest, experimental duo THE SUN AND THE MIRROR ready the arrival of their debut full-length offering, Dissolution to Salt and Bone. Consisting of cellist Sarah Townely and multi-instrumentalist Reggie Townley, THE SUN AND THE MIRROR expand upon the experimental tag and incorporate a maelstrom of atmospheric sound, the likes of which spreads throughout the complex four-tracks on Dissolution, which arrives on April 2nd via Brucia Records. Sarah, who painted the album cover, delivers a masterful cello performance that is intricately layered between an array of Reggie's ambient drone and heavy guitar work. Lead single Katherinella Angustri, the longest and closing track on the record, is available now for a patient listen that constantly unfolds.
