For as many great records that arrived last year, few had the soul of THUNDERCAT's It Is What It Is. From the mesmerizing chimes of opener Lost In Space to the fading percussion of the closing title track, It Is What It Is captured hearts with euphonious hymns that garnered high praise across music journalists, even receiving a Grammy for Best Progressive R&B album. The power embodied within that Parker Day cover photograph speaks for itself and though audiences didn't have the opportunity to engage with the material via the live setting, they will this fall.

Stephen Bruner's THUNDERCAT will be taking It Is What It Is on the road alongside the multifaceted DJ, producer, and rapper Channel Tres as the opening act with special guests set to appear at certain shows. If you've yet to see Bruner's hypnotic bass lines in the flesh, let this tour be your entry into the maelstrom of sound that is THUNDERCAT.
