Fearless Records have ushered in a new benchmark for Underoath with today's arrival of Voyeurist, a composition brimming with creative ambition from one track to the next. It marks the first time that the band have handled the recording and produced process on their own, allowing their own depth and creative learnings to inform the development process entirely. Lyrically, it's an introspective affair that is accessible by all as a byproduct of contemporary impacts that social media and technology as a whole has on our perceptions. These themes take grand form via Underoath's seamless blend of aggression and rhythmic spark that allow glimpses of light to shine through an otherwise violent record. With each passing listen, new layers unfold and the incorporated electronics add a remarkable flair to the band's defined songcraft. For those keen, Underoath's new hymns will take the live stage starting this February as the band embark on a North American tour with Every Time I Die and Spiritbox.
