Cosmic black metal alchemists ORANSSI PAZUZU and ritualistic doom purveyors DARK BUDDHA RISING have an established presence in the world of heavy music. Now, take both those efforts and put them together for an exclusive Roadburn Festival performance and you get WASTE OF SPACE ORCHESTRA, a 10-piece unit of wonder that delivers dimension spanning compositions fusing elements from black to psychedelic metal. This exclusive performance, which was captured and reworked in the studio, is now known as Syntheosis and will be unleashed on April 5th, 2019 via Svart Records. The effort was recorded and mixed by Julius Mauranen, who delivered ORANSSI PAZUZU's Värähtelijä. Expect a transcendental and engaging psych metal record that is broken down into nine parts, each telling the story of three beings and their deep search for knowledge.

The collective have offered Seeker's Reflection, the first single from the forthcoming record, as a taste of what to expect. In addition to the track release, WASTE OF SPACE ORCHESTRA have also shared the magnificent video to the track, which will trip you out without the need of drug usage. The clip was shot, directed, and edited by Kalle-Erik Kosonen, who was also responsible for the cover art.

Vesa Ajamo (Oranssi Pazuzu) comments:

"After seeing through the Shaman's eyes, The Seeker begins his journey from altered states of reality. The Syntheosis is like a black hole; once The Seeker is within the gravitational pull, there is no return."
