Two decades into their existence, WOLVES IN THE THRONE ROOM continue to hit great strides across the black metal ranks. Today's announcement of Primordial Arcana furthers their legacy with a composition rooted fully in a DIY approach. Aaron and Nathan Weaver alongside guitarist Kody Keyworth handled all ends of the compositional process at their own Owl Lodge Studios in the woods of Washington state, making this one raw and powerful outing of full creative control. Primordial Arcana arrives on August 20th via Relapse Records and lead single Mountain Magick sets the stage for this sure to be year-end contender.

The band comment on the new track's video:

“Mountain Magick was shot in the northern reaches of the Olympic Mountains and the ancient forests that shroud the foothills. We wrote the story, created the costumes, shot the footage and did the editing ourselves, so it is a true product of our hearts and souls. Creating our own videos has been a long standing dream and now it’s very exciting to bring these visions into the cinematic realm.”
