On February 13, 2026, Floridian black metal masterminds Worm will release their new album, Necropalace, via Century Media, adorned by the renowned artwork of Andreas Marschall, production by Charlie Koryn (Morbid Angel), and mix / mastering by Arthur Rizk (King Diamond, Blood Incantation, Sumerlands, Cavalera, Soulfly). In short, Necropalace is a powerhouse through and through, making this subgenre-spanning body of black metal shine like never before, as mastermind Phantom Slaughter intended. It's a great wall of sound, led by the ethereal guitars of Wroth Septentrion (Phil Tougas) and a cinematic attention to detail that immerses and astounds unlike few across the genre. We've still got another month left this year, but with Worm's latest on the horizon, we can't get through it fast enough.

Phantom Slaughter comments:

“Welcome to the domain of dread known as NECROPALACE. This fortress has kept my memories and nightmares for centuries. Risen from ancient slumber, the curse is once again free to haunt starlit nights. While approaching the icy gates of Castle Ravenblood, a swirling mist begins to form. Phantom figures surround you. Enter if you dare but be warned, the darkness may consume your mortal soul forever. The ultimate evil has returned…”
