For as insignificant as one may figure album cover colors to be, they play a significant role in setting the mood for the tunes to follow. In the case of BLEAKHEART's debut record, Dream Griever, Brian D'Agosta of Gostworks Art makes perfect use of somber blue hues, matching the mournful qualities of the record at hand. This beautiful blend of doom and shoegaze arrives independently on October 23rd, adding yet another gem in Denver's contemporary metal hot streak.

Vocalist Kelly Schilling comments on the record:

"The album explores the patterns of destruction and turmoil created within ourselves, and the time we lose within those fleeting cycles. The record goes to all of those places - the acknowledgement, the attempted escape, and the inevitable missteps into the depths of our own machinations."
