EVIL ANGEL sign with HELLS HEADBANGERS, prepare label debut

Blackened heavy metal coming right at your face.

The iconic Hells Headbangers are one of heavy music's most consistent record labels, unleashing release after release of nothing but ravaging records. To further add to their arsenal of bands, the label has announced the signing of black heavy metallers EVIL ANGEL, who will be making their label debut with their sophomore record Unholy Evil Metal. The effort will see the light this spring on CD, vinyl LP, and cassette tape formats.

EVIL ANGEL first formed in 1998 and laid foot on the international metal underground with their Dark Forces of Hell (2002) demo. Following years of menacing riffs spread across demos, splits, and the Metal Onslaught (2003) EP, the band let their debut record Unholy Fight for Metal (2007) loose upon the world. The band followed it up a with a split 7" with SPAWN OF SATAN (2008) and disbanded after that.

Despite having gone on hiatus for 11 years, the band are here to prove that the time off has only made them a more formidable force. Unholy Evil Metal embodies that old school heavy metal sound with elements of black metal spread throughout the course of this head-banging composition. Count us in.
