HELLEBORUS paint the world black with "Saprophytic Divinations"

A brutal offering from the black metal ensemble.

Colorado's HELLEBORUS came striking down the underground with their massive debut The Carnal Sabbath (2016), offering a wondrous pairing of symphonic dread and resounding heaviness. Though there always seems to be sense of nervousness when releasing a sophomore record, the band keep the momentum with a proper follow up to the beast that was The Carnal Sabbath. Fronted by the work of Stefan Todorovic (Khaos Diktator Design) is Saprophytic Divinations, the band's new outing set to arrive on December 6th via Redefining Darkness Records.

Heavily inspired by Western witchcraft and ancient Greek cults, Saprophytic Divinations is an offering representative of a band with intent to strike a chord within the psyche of all who bare witness. From it's crisp production to it's relentless instrumentation, this composition pleases those with an ear for black metal, but also those favoring the more melodic and symphonic side of the genre. It takes but one listen of first single Alraun Ghost to realize that frontman Houseman is a conduit for the divine communications stemming from the deep beyond.
