The retelling of one's tortured past through music is never easy given the toll it took and the pressures associated with reminiscing. Those that do are to be commended for it, and even more so if the accompany music is of high caliber. Indonesia's PURE WRATH are one to be commended for this very reason as their new EP The Forlorn Soldier illustrates the forceful nature of recruitment for war in 1960's Indonesia via the wonder of atmospheric black metal.
