Roadburn 2020 to host a special 10 Year Anniversary Showcase for The Flenser

Further setting the bar for festival experiences.

Continuing their hot streak of additions to the already rich and diverse lineup, Roadburn Festival has announced that it will welcome a 10th Anniversary Showcase for The Flenser, the San Francisco-based label that has introduced the world to unique and genre-binding new artists since it's inception a decade ago. The event is set to take place from April 16 through April 19, 2010 in Tilburg, Netherlands.

Of the Flenser artists, those performing at festival include Giles Corey, Midwife, Drowse, Elizabeth Colour Wheel, and Mamaleek, each of which brings something dark to the table via different means. From Elizabeth Colour Wheel's list charting Nocebo (#37 on Decibel Magazine's Top 40 of 2019) and Drowse's soul-crushing Light Mirror (2019) to acoustic visionary Giles Corey making his European debut with a full band, festival attendees will be treated to sonic experiences exclusive to the musicianship present via The Flenser.

Label manager Jonathan Tuite comments of the announcement:

“Roadburn is my absolute favorite festival in the world. The lineup is always diverse, the audience enthusiastic, and the curation is second to none. I can’t think of a more appropriate place for The Flenser to celebrate our ten years of existence.”

There are but a few Roadburn 2020 tickets available and if last year's iteration is anything to by, you best gets yours HERE as soon as possible. Releases by all The Flenser showcase artists can be checked out HERE via the label's Bandcamp.
