Composed in NYC bedrooms among a growing pandemic and a national outcry.
Consisting of Jasmine Golestaneh and Eddie Cooper, the multi-disciplined TEMPERS have mastered the art of composing soulful hymns, today's arrival of The Use of My Belonging being no exception. However, this new synth-laden effort stems from a different motive, one that explores social unrest amidst the uncertainty of the COVID-19 pandemic.
TEMPERS comment of the track:
“Watching inequalities intensify to unethical extremes, as systems of power swerve into nightmarish realms of greed, brutality and oppression inspired the song. The song is about the hope that love will prevail in an era of post-truth, that the return to love is somehow natural and inevitable."
