Upon Stone announce debut album 'Dead Mother Moon' + share lead single

The standout death metal outfit set a date for their entry point with art by a genre legend.

On January 19th, Upon Stone's highly anticipated debut, Dead Mother Moon, arrives via Century Media Records, complete with artwork by THE Andreas Marschall (In Flames, Sodom, Obituary). Old school at heart, Dead Mother Moon expands upon the grassroots death metal acclaim that Upon Stone have built over the course of many shows. Lead single/title track Dead Mother Moon rips right into listeners with a graceful use of melody against its raw and uncompromising death metal flair.

Vocalist/bassist Xavier Wahlberg comments on the album's themes:

“A mortal human’s search for meaning through the practice of ritual and magic. Discovering the power and reverence of the nocturnal spirit world waiting to be gained for those willing to devote themselves to it completely.
